After making use of available ridge cap and roof space, Solarcap will essentially install a battery of tanks in a separate area that has direct sunlight. Applications for these units include large heated swimming pools for resorts and large warm water tanks for production processes.

Solarcap has been successfully applied in projects where the Solarcap tanks were coloured to resemble the roof tiles. In these cases it is almost impossible to identify the solar water heating tanks on the roof. The efficiency of the system was only slightly affected by the colour of the units.
